Executive Board Positions

Head of Biology, Head of Chemistry, Head of Physics, Head of Earth Science, Head of Algebra 1, Head of Geometry, Head of Algebra 2, Head of Pre-Calculus
Executive board members are in charge of their corresponding team. You are expected to supervise your team whether it is through answering their questions or assisting them with the creation of resources. You will help create the curriculum and make sure your members create their resources in a timely fashion. Executive board members should have leadership, commitment, dedication, communication, and time management skills, as well as have a strong understanding of the subject/team you are on. The time commitment for executive members is 4-6 hours per week.

Head of Blog, Head of Outreach
Executive board members in charge of their general team. You should be able to lead your team whether it is through answering their questions or assisting them with their given tasks. The Head of the Blog will make sure their team is consistently writing for our blog. The Head of Outreach will work with their team on finding other organizations or schools that we can reach out to. Executive board members should have leadership, dedication, commitment, and time management skills, as well as have a strong understanding of the subject/team you are working on. The time commitments for executive members are 4-6 hours per week.
General Member Positions

Resource Creators
Resource creators produce resources (slideshows, study guides, flashcards, practice tests) for high school students based on their team. (Resource creators in the Biology Team will create biology resources) You will produce resources based on the curriculum provided. Resource Creators should be able to do in-depth research on their topic, be organized, have time management skills, and have a strong understanding of the subject/team you are working on. The time commitments for resource creators are 2-4 hours per week.
Outreach
Members of the outreach team will research different organizations and schools. You will contact them (through email) to expand our organization and publicity. You will also reach out to high school students and recruit people interested in joining our team. The Outreach team should have good communication skills, organization skills, time management skills, and a strong understanding of the subject/team you are working on. The time commitment for the outreach team is 1-3 hours per week.
Editors
Editors will review the resources and blogs produced. They should make sure there are no grammar mistakes and the information presented is accurate and clear. Editors should have knowledge of the English grammar, give feedback, time management skills, and a strong understanding of the subject/team you are on. The time commitments for editors are 1-3 hours per week.
Blog Writers
Blog writers are in charge of creating articles for our blog. Writers will compose short articles about STEM-related topics of their choosing. Articles will be published and posted on the Curious MINDS’ website. Blog writers should have creativity in their writing, knowledge of English grammar, previous writing skills, time management skills, and have a strong understanding of what they are writing about. The time commitments for these positions are 2-4 hours per week.
