Why You Should Join Our Team!

At Curious MINDS, we are actively looking for student volunteers to join our team! Volunteers can join a variety of teams and contribute by either making resources, writing blog articles, editing resources and/or blog articles, or helping us with outreach! You may be wondering, why should I join your team. Well, here are the reasons why!

1) Solidify your knowledge in STEM / Learn new things

Joining our team can help you solidify your knowledge through our various positions in our teams. For example, creating a resource for Biology can help you go more in-depth in the topic while you are researching and creating the resources. Editors can learn from these resources as they are reviewing them for publication! Blog article writers can research a new topic in STEM they are interested about and learn from it. As you can see, joining our team will help you learn topics further than you have or learn new things!

2) Make an impact on others

Making an impact is a great reason why you should join! You can help students further their education through the resources and articles YOU produce. With you joining our team, students will rely on us for resources to help them in their classes. That is why, student volunteers are vital in our organization. We can't do it all ourselves, WE NEED YOU! Joining our team will make a lasting impact in the STEM community!

3) Gain service/volunteer hours

Are you in need of service hours and COVID-19 has taken your opportunities away? Well, Curious MINDS is a great place to gain these hours! You can gain service hours through creating resources, writing blog articles, editing, and researching for our outreach team! *Note: Make sure your school accepts hours from non-certified organizations. Even if they don't we still encourage you to apply!*
